The aluminium self propel wheelchair by Drive Medical has a lightweight frame and has adjustable and removal arm rests (lift up).

The anti-tip wheels on the back are also adjustable.  This wheelchair has been built for user comfort including both a deluxe padded seat and backrest.

The aluminium self propel wheelchair has an 18″ seat but is also available in a 20″ version.  The 18″ version is a metallic blue colour, the 20″ version is  a metallic red colour.

All four tyres on this wheelchair are solid so you won’t ever have a problem with punctures.  The max user weight of this chair is 18.5st (115kg) and has an overall weight of 8.3kg when carried (wheels removed).

With the extra padding on the seat and backrest you will find that it takes a little longer to fold up the wheelchair as these need to be removed before the chair can be folded.  The back handles can be folded down and the rear wheels are quick release.  The wheelchair does not have attendant brakes which is a surprise, however the user is able to apply the brakes easily.

The footrests are removal and adjustable in height.

Overall I found the wheelchair to be very comfortable which will be good for people who spend a lot of their day in the wheelchair.  The chair feels very sturdy when you are sat in it and will most of the chair being adjustable, you should be able to find the perfect seating arrangement.
